School books donations

Hello,

We at Ahobrase Active Ghana have started a fundraising campaign to provide textbooks for schools.

One fact has concerned us, what is taken for granted in the western world is unfortunately a big problem here. Most schools have a huge problem getting school materials.

The money available to the schools, if there is any at all, is so small that they can only print the examination papers at the end of the year.

We are in close contact with teachers in the Eastern Region and have been lucky enough to visit several schools. We have also found out that the most popular and, in our opinion, the most important textbook is the one that is printed.

With this donation we were able to provide two schools with 80 children each with textbooks for one year. 

These two schools were 
Aduamoa Presbyterian Model School and the Owrobong Basic School.
