Zanetor files fresh suit at Supreme Court against High court's rulingThe NDC Parliamentary aspirant for Klottey-Korle, Dr Zenator Rawlings has filed a motion at the Supreme Court against the High court’s ruling.

The High Court presided over by Justice Kwaku Ackah Boafo last week dismissed an application by Dr Zenator Rawlings, to overrule a suit challenging her candidature.

Lawyer for Dr Rawlings, Godwin Tamakloe is praying the Supreme Court to quash the High Court’s ruling and restrain Justice Ackah Boafo from further hearing the case, pending the outcome of the motion at the highest court of the Land.

Mr Tamakloe contends that the High Court Judge erred in law when he wrongly assumed jurisdiction to interpret Article 94, Clause one- A of the 1992 Constitution.

The effect of that ruling meant, once Dr Zenator Rawlings had put herself out as a contestant in the Primaries, she was obliged under the said provision to be a registered voter at that time.
