The Workers Defence Society has expressed disappointment over the decision of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to deploy 205 troops to the Gambia.

A statement signed by the secretary of the Society, Duke Tagoe says their displeasure with the action of the President is due to the fact that inspite of the overwhelming number of Ghanaians in Gambia, government has made little effort towards the evacuation of Ghanaians in that country, as other governments have done in the past few days.

The statement says the action places the lives of Ghanaians in Gambia at great risk.

The Workers Defense Society commends the peace keeping efforts of the Ghana Armed forces to Africa and the world at large.

Change has come and everyone seems to be happy. Everyone except the outgoing government, I suppose. But to whom much is given, much is expected and the newly sworn in New Patriotic Party (NPP) is no different. As a public commentator on the environment in Ghana, my interest is to make the incoming government aware that they have to fulfill their promises. The environment has been heavily ignored in the past (by both the NPP and NDC) and if change has truly come then this must also change. Here, I have compiled a list of 15 thing...

Late last night, Google unwrapped a new feature for the Google App on Android that lets you search within apps installed on your phone. The new feature is called (fittingly) In Apps and will show up as a new “In Apps” tab within Search. What’s the point of specifying a search to within apps? For one, this allows you to search contacts and messages on your phone from within a single interface, that being the Google App. Google gives an example of you and a friend talking about sushi last week, so a quick search from the In Apps tab for “sushi...
