When is Chelsea vs Burnley, what TV channel is the champions’ opening Premier League fixture on?

CHELSEA will start the defence of their Premier League title at home to Burnley at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues brilliantly won the trophy last season, but have had an underwhelming pre-season campaign, while Antonio Conte has missed out on some signings.

The Italian has brought in Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Antonio Rudiger, despite reports the boss is unhappy over the club’s recruitment record.

Unlike last season, Conte will have to contend with the Champions League group stages, as well as his side’s domestic commitments.

Burnley are in their second consecutive season in the top flight after finishing six points above the drop zone last term.

The Clarets have signed some serious experience in Charlie Taylor, Jonathan Walters, Jack Cork and Phil Bardsley this summer after releasing a host of players.

They made £30million off the sale of Michael Keane as the England international joined Everton.
