Okay, so a small opening ceremony will make it very clear that this isn’t the Olympics, but it’s still got all the competition and excellence you need, plus there are some names from those glory days taking part.

Notable tonight is Mo Farah (right), who runs in the 10,000m final, the only medal given out in the first session. He’s had a few injuries lately and also dealt with some allegations about his old coach, so let’s hope we can all get together and do the Mobot one more time.

There’s also a chance to see arguably the biggest name in the sport, Usain Bolt, who is expected to quit after these championships but begins the defence of his 100m title tonight in the heats.

There are also heats of the women’s 1,500m – featuring Britain’s Laura Muir – the discus, the long jump and pole vault. Settle in.

Our retinas have been burning yet again watching the last instalment of the dating show, but hats (and, er, clothes) off to the brave contestants.

Anna Richardson (above) wraps up the series with 43-year-old Cathy from Hertfordshire, who wants to settle down and have kids, and Adam, 24, from London, who’s fed up with online dating. Willy find The One?

Naked Attraction contestants' lack of public hair confuses viewers
