Accra, Aug. 24, GNA – Steve Pollack, head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko
has admitted that his side lost to a very good team on Wednesday afternoon.

The Porcupines suffered  a 2-0
defeat to West African Football Academy (WAFA) in a rescheduled match day 24
fixture of the Ghana Premier League at the Sogakope Park.

In a post match interview with the press, Coach Pollack congratulated
WAFA for their emphatic victory, saying that, they were a very good side. He
added that, the game was an advert for Ghana football.

“WAFA were a very good side today and I think we were also good too
although we lost. The game was a good advert for Ghana football.

“We made two mistakes which resulted in the goals, it’s not nice to
be losing but I have to congratulate WAFA.

“We were pressing high to get a goal but we couldn’t utilize our
chances.

The boys did well throughout the 90 minutes and I think we lost to
another quality team.

“We lost today but the league is not over, it’s still
mathematically possible for us to win the league,” said Steve Pollack.
