Tottenham’s Kyle Walker joins Man City in £54m deal – Starr Fm

England International Kyle Walker has joined Manchester City from Tottenham Hotspur on a five-year deal.

The right-back is the third signing to join Pep Guardiola’s men, following in the steps of Bernado Silva and Ederson at a fee of 50 million pounds.

“I am thrilled to be signing for City…and can’t wait to get started,” the Englishman told the club’s official website .

He described coach Guardiola as “one of the most respected managers in the world,” and believes the Spaniard can help him take his career to a new level.

Man City’s Director of Football Txiki Begiristain was full of praise of the right-wing back labelling him as a [fine footballer] capable of producing quality at both ends of the pitch.

“We’ve followed his progress at Tottenham and have been really impressed by how he has developed. He is now one of the best right-backs in the Premier League and justifiably an England regular,” Bigiristain said.

The Director of Football for the Sky Blues was of a strong conviction that the former Tottenham defender will be a success at his new home in the coming season and beyond.

The Three Lions right-back has opted to wear the number two shirt for his new club.
