The world’s most famous movie memorabilia is going on sale next month… but film fans will need a blockbuster budget

LIGHTS, camera. . . auction! Movie fans have the chance to buy props and costumes from some of the greatest films ever made – if they have a blockbuster budget.

The iconic items going under the hammer at the BFI Imax cinema in central London include an 18in model spaceship from Return Of The Jedi which is set to fetch at least £200,000.

Here, we reveal the guide prices for some slightly less expensive lots and the films they feature in ahead of the sale next month.

C-3PO’s head: £60,000 – 80,000

COULD this be a phantom purchase?

Star Wars actor Anthony Daniels never wore the plastic prop as it shrank. It was used only for special effects.
