Bellfield is serving a whole-life sentence after being convicted in 2011 of murdering 3 women including schoolgirl Milly Dowler[/caption]

Two of Bellfield’s suspected victims have only just called police to report their cases, according to The Sunday Times.

They were each clubbed over the head while walking alone.

Bellfield, 49, murdered Milly Dowler, 13, Amelie Delagrange, 22, and Marsha McDonnell, 19, and attempted to murder Kate Sheedy, 18.

In January The Sun revealed that he could be questioned over the murder of Melanie Hall, 25, who vanished in Bath, Somerset, in 1996.

But police intelligence suspects him of nine attacks plus a series of rapes and assaults in London, Surrey, Middlesex, Sussex and Lancashire that were never solved.

The information was gathered before Bellfield’s first conviction in 2008 but has just been revealed.
