Phd Studentship – Underwater Sensor Networks in UK, 2017 Scholarship Positions 2017 2018

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Doctoral Training Partnership and the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering sponsoring PhD Studentship in underwater sensor networks. Successful student will do this PhD studentship under the supervision of Mr Jeffrey Neasham, Senior Lecturer, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Course Level: This position is available for pursuing PhD programme.

Study Subject: The position is awarded in the project of Underwater Sensor Networks.

Scholarship Award:  100% of UK/EU tuition fees.
UK students – annual tax-free stipend (living allowances) of £20,000.
Non-UK EU students – annual tax-free stipend (living allowances) of £15,000.

Number of Awards: One studentship is available.

Scholarship can be taken in the UK

Eligibility: You should have at least a 2:1 Honours degree (or international equivalent) in electrical and electronic engineering or a related subject (eg materials science, nanotechnology, physics.

UK students – To be eligible for the stipend you must have settled status in the UK and be ordinarily resident in the UK for 3 years prior to the start of the studentship.

Non-UK EU students – to be eligible for the stipend you must be ordinarily resident in an EU state. Nationality: International students are eligible to apply for these studentships.

Nationality: Studentships are open for UK and Non – UK students.

  • Attach a covering letter and CV. The covering letter must state the title of the studentship, quote the studentship reference code ee043 and state how your interests and experience relate to the project
  • Attach degree transcripts** and certificates and, if English is not your first language, a copy of your English language qualifications. **You will not be able to submit your application until you have submitted your degree transcript/s
