PhD Scholarship at University of Newcastle in Australia, 2017 Scholarship Positions 2017 2018












The  University of Newcastle now accepting the application for its PhD Scholarship in Mechanisms Underlying Myopia. The scholarship is available for the applicants from all over the world.

The aim of the scholarship is to giving research opportunity to the researchers from all over the world.

The University of Newcastle, informally known as Newcastle University, is an Australian public university. The University of Newcastle is a member of Universities Australia and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Course Level: The scholarship is available to pursue PhD programme.

Study Subject: The scholarship is awarded in mechanisms underlying myopia under the supervision of Associate Professor Sally McFadden.

Scholarship Award: The value of this scholarship is $26,682 per annum in 2017, indexed in January each year. The scholarship is for a period of three years, with the possibility of a six-month extension.

Numbers of Scholarships: One scholarship is available.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • This Scholarship is open to domestic and international students.

Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities can apply for the scholarship.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have previous year degree

English Language Requirement: The candidate should have a very good command over the English language.
