The Chair of Production Management in the Area Operations at the Business School of the University of Mannheim invites applications for a Ph.D. position.

The University of Mannheim Business School is Germany’s premier business school and provideManagement.s an outstanding international research environment. The chair actively supports collaborations within the international research community.

Candidates are expected to be fluent in the English language, German language skills are not required.

Course Level: Positions are available for pursuing PhD programme.

Study Subject: The chair’s research focuses on the development of methods of Operations Research in the field of Combinatorial or nonlinear optimization, Performance analysis of queueing systems, or Optimization of stochastic systems.

Scholarship Award: Not Known

Scholarship can be taken in Germany

Eligibility: The candidate is expected to have an excellent background in (Applied) Mathematics, Operations Management, Operations Research, Management Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related fields. Individuals with exceptional skills in stochastic modeling or optimization algorithms are especially encouraged to apply.
