NPP CR Chairman hopeful organises medical screening for Cape Coasters

Residents in Cape Coast have benefited from a medical outreach by a son of the soil and also a New Patriotic Party(NPP) regional chairman hopeful Horace Ekow Ewusi.

The leader of the Pro-NPP group “Professionals for Change,” brought together a team of medical doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians and other medical specialists totalling 50 to see to the health needs of residents in the metropolis.

The exercise which took place at the Abura Roman School park saw over 500 people benefiting from the medical support.

The team had adequate drugs to administer to all people who were examined by the health experts with many benefiting from free counselling on how to keep their lives healthy.

Patrons of the medical services cut across as both the young and aged were there to access the free medical care.

The leader of the group, Ekow Ewusi indicated that the screening exercise and medical support will be extended to all the 19 districts and 23 constituencies of the Central region.

The aim of the group, he added is to complement effort by government in meeting the needs of the people especially those in deprived areas.

Speaking in an interview with Kasapa News Central regional Correspondent Kwaku Baah-Acheamfour, the entrepreneur expressed his desire to contest the Central regional Chairmanship slot when nomination opens.

His administration, he added will unite the rank and file of the party in bringing about a substantial improvement in the performance of the party in the Central region come 2020.

He pledges to run an open, transparent and an all inclusive administration tapping from the expertise of all in building a strong base of the party in the region .

A strong grassroots base, he explained will be key in guaranteeing victory for the party in the next elections especially in the Central region which is key in determining who wins the 2020 elections.
