Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez offered chance to sign West Ham goalkeeper Darren Randolph once Joe Hart joins Hammers

NEWCASTLE UNITED will get the opportunity to sign Darren Randolph from West Ham once they secure Joe Hart.

The London team have reportedly beaten Newcastle to Hart and are close to finalising a deal.

The new loan deal with West Ham has the potential to turn to a permanent signing if he is successful in London and the team agree to pay 50 percent of his £100,000 a week wages.

The England international spent last year on loan at Torino from Manchester City.

With Hart’s move to the London Stadium, Randolph will be out of a starting job.

But with Newcastle still on the search for their number one keeper, the Republic of Ireland goalie could be their answer.

The Hammers will be looking to off load Randolph and will go to Newcastle with an offer, according to Chronicle Live.

Rafa Benitez has already lost out on keeper Willy Caballero to Chelsea and failed to sign Pepe Reina from Napoli.
