Pep Guardiola plans to send the 16 and 18-year old brothers back to Red Star Belgrade on loan for the next two years until Ivan turns 18 according to The Daily Mail.

That’s be under the condition the midfielders play at least 50% of the matches during that time while Guardiola watches their progress.

The Ilic’s will then look to transition to Manchester.

Both Luka and his younger brother Ivan have been on scouts radars across Europe as they have emerged as two of the most exciting talents from Serbia.

Defensive midfielder Luka made his debut for Red Star earlier this month in a Europa League qualifier.

But he was beaten to making his senior debut by his younger brother.

The teenage brothers have already made their senior debut at Red Star Belgrade at 16 and 18-years-old

Ivan became the youngest player to make an appearance for Red Star in April at 16 years and 15 days old.

The Serbian brothers have also made appearances on youth national teams.
