Majeed Waris fails to turn up for Lorient as move away edges closer than ever

Ghana forward Abdul Majeed Waris

Lorient forward Abdul Majeed Waris was expected back in training for Lorient on Monday but he has since failed to show up as a move away from the club moves ever closer.

There have been reports that he could end up in England, Germany and Turkey after scoring 9 goals for Lorient last season.

His goals were not enough to save the team from going down but his market value did shoot up with Bursaspor constantly in touch.

The Lorientan leaders had contacts with him, but his future is not on the side of the Moustoir. Bordeaux is also on the rows. Waris, who does not want to play in Ligue 2, is not included in Mickaël Landreau’s plans and is expected to fly to a future destination soon
