Leicester are in real danger of relegation – and an unprecedented exodus would follow

What is happening at my old club Leicester is a big worry.

One of my biggest concerns is Jamie Vardy who, for a player who has always looked a natural goal threat, he isn’t right now.

I’m a little bit concerned that he has had a little sip of the Kool-Aid with the film, the book and bumped up wages and they have taken him to a place that has made him forget what got him there.

That only has to be replicated two or three positions in the team and you’re in big trouble.

And if Leicester’s poor form continues and they go down, what will they be left with?

You can pretty much guarantee that Kasper Schmeichel, Christian Fuchs, Riyad Mahrez will be off.

The recent new signings that have come in for big money would go too.

And those who have fought and scrapped their way from League One to win the Premier League won’t hang around either.

They will want the last gravy from winning the Premier League title and that would mean moving elsewhere.

Leicester could be relegated but be left with an entire squad of players wanting to jump ship because they believe they should be playing at a higher level.

The exodus could be the biggest example of players jumping ship that the Premier League has ever seen.
