Black Stars manager James Kwesi Appiah and his technical team where paid their salaries on Wednesday, August 2, for the first time since they took over the national team on the 1st of May.

A decision by government to hold back on the GNPC’s sponsorship of the team led to the technical staff being forced to work for three months without receiving their salaries.

Below is the breakdown of the $147,000 and what each member of the team was paid.

Kwasi Appiah (Coach) – $105,000 ($35,000/month)

Ibrahim Tanko (Assistant Coach) – $15,000 ($5,000/month)
