Kingsley Sarfo scores for Malmo on return to squad in Kalmar 6-0 walloping

K. Sarfo

Ghanaian midfielder Kingsley Sarfo came off the bench to score for Malmo FF in their 6-0 thumping of Kalmar in the Swedish Allsvenskan League at the Swedbank Stadion on Friday evening.

The Sky Blues got off to a flying start as Swedish midfielder Jon Inge Berget put them ahead in the 23rd minute through penalty.

Alexander Jeremejeff doubled the hot advantage just a minute later to put Malmo FF a 2-0 up at half time.

Five minutes after the recess, Malmo got their third of the night courtesy Polish-born Swedish midfielder Pawel Cibicki before paving way for Kingsley Sarfo.

Sarfo, who has been out the team due to personal reasons, needed just five minutes to announce his presence as he put away a Mattias Svanberg’s through pass.

Anders Christiansen sealed the walloping for Malmo in the 81st minute.

Malmo maintain their top spot with 46 points after match day 19.
