KasapaFM, Events Republic to hold Inter-community spar contest

As part of the celebration to mark the 57th Republic Day of Ghana, Kasapa FM and Events Republic will tomorrow, Saturday, July 1, organise a fun-packed entertaining playing card competition, popularly called ‘Spar’ at the Kasapa FM car park at Adabraka, Accra, from 10a.m to 5p.m.

The event, according to organizers, promises to be exciting and would be rewarding participants at the end of the game with lots of prices and the winner taking home a trophy.

Speaking to the DAILY HERITAGE newspaper, Mr Kwabena Bediako Antwi-Dako, popularly known in showbiz as IBK, Head of Marketing of the radio station, said “all Kasapa FM presenters will be appearing to compete for the ultimate prize.

“In all we have 32 teams registered and ready to compete for the ultimate trophy with various rewards ranging from cash prizes to products from our sponsors.

“Special side attraction will be a peace match between Baba Spirit and Ayitey Powers. Also appearing is the mountain Kings Concert party, ‘Odompo’ the comedian, and ‘Original Popcorn’ will entertain participating groups with some comic performances, which will let you laugh till you wet your pants,” he said.

“Kasapa FM and Events Republic intend to bring out the competitive nature of this beautiful game by pitching it as a tournament amongst all communities with prizes at stake. There will be an after party with DJ Perfekt’s ‘Party Time’ till mama calls,” he added.

Registered groups include: Rangers Club, Wisdom, All Stars Playing Club, Friends of the Media, Our Hands are Clean, Dome Park Stars, Conka Bridge Stars, W.W, Team First Man, Akotia Starsgagao Club, and Wait And See Club.

Others are Nii Sei Ayaata Stars, Lg Fc, Media 5media, Oil Money Group, 3tai Si, Capacity Card Club, Apaa-Wa, Awule Stars,Kasapa Fanbase,Gentle Club,Y2k Club, Lion Stars, Unique Squad, Super Stars, Lihgter Group, Mountain Kings, G-Round, Millenium Peace and many more.
