Italy avalanche: 8 people including 2 children found ALIVE two days after wall of snow buries hotel

More than 30 people are feared dead after a wall of snow and rock slammed into the Hotel Rigopiano in central Italy

A DESPERATE HUNT FOR SURVIVORS AT THE ITALY AVALANCHE HOTEL

Eight people including two children have been found alive after an avalanche buried an Italian hotel on Wednesday.

Terrified holidaymakers sent desperate texts begging for help after their mountain hotel was engulfed by an avalanche .

More than 30 people were feared dead after a wall of snow and rock slammed into the Hotel Rigopiano in central Italy.

But today rescuers said they had located eight people still under the snow. It is believed one of them is a young girl and the other is a child. Rescuers are now working to free them.

It is believed they were found under a floor in the kitchen area and have been talking to rescuers.

Emergency teams are now desperately battling to work to free them from under the snow.
