Help us arrest Lapaz shooters – Police

The Ghana Police Service has urged members of the public to divulge information that will lead to the arrest of two killers of a policeman who was shot in broad daylight at Abeka Lapaz in Accra.

COP Ransford Ninson, Commissioner in charge of Welfare, on behalf of the Inspector General of Police sympathised with the wife and family of the deceased after he presented drinks to the family in support of the one week memorial of the late cop.

Constable Daniel Owusu was shot by some suspected armed robbers at Lapaz in Accra on Thursday, 13th July, 2017.

The Police Administration has offered a GHC10,000 bounty for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the killers.

In attendance were the Inspector-General of Police, David Asante-Apeatu, COP/Ms Rose Bio Atinga, COP/Mr Kwame Agblor, COP/Dr George Akuffo Dampare, COP/Mr Ransford Ninson, COP/Mrs Beatrice Vib-Sanziri, DCOP/Mr Yaagy Akuribah, DCOP/Mr Bright Oduro, DCOP/Mr Alex Amponsah Asiamah, and C/Supt/Mr Francis Tsidi, all of whom are members of the Police Management and Advisory Board (POMAB) amidst other ranks.
