Godwin Attram says Olympics management is part of the club’s premier league woes

Former Great Olympics player-cum-trainer Godwin Attram has insisted that management is part of the reason the club is struggling ongoing Ghana Premier League.

Attram, who guided the team to the ongoing Ghana Premier League from Division One at the first time of asking, was relieved of his duty in the first round of the campaign and replaced with Swedish gaffer Tom Strand following the club’s underwhelming start to the league.

Nevertheless, Strand has since failed to extricate their poor season as they face a stern battle to beat the drop with just ten games to the end of the season.

And Attram has attributed the club’s woes to their top hierarchy for failing to exercise patience with him during his tenure.

“The supporters knew that I was doing well for the club but the management took a hasty decision to demote me,” the 36-year-old said.

“For now, they have seen that I was trying to build a strong squad for the club.”

Olympics occupies 15th position on the Ghana Premier League table after match-day twenty.
