Fulham made their move earlier today and believe Ojo can be the key to them finally achieving a return to the Premier League after four years out of the top flight.

It is now down to the player to make a choice between London and the North East for where to spend the next 12 months.

Fulham have told ambitious Ojo that he will get far more regular first team football with them than with Newcastle next season.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen for Ojo, 20, to go out on loan to give him valuable first team experience.

The arrival of winger Mo Salah has also pushed the youngster down the pecking order at Anfield.

Newcastle made their interest clear in a loan move some time ago after securing promotion back to the Premier League. Middlesbrough have also been keen.

Fulham missed out on the Play Off final last season with defeat to Reading and boss Slavisa Jokanovic sees Ojo as the kind of dynamic talent who can help them make it over the line in the quest for top flight football again.

Ojo has played for England from U-16 to U-19 level and made his first team debut for Liverpool in the FA Cup against Reading in January last year.
