The 37-year-old – who was pushing a pram with her seven-month-old baby in – was rushed to hospital but died the next day.

Her husband Ian, 50, was hurt but survived but their three sons miraculously escaped unharmed.

Cops say Oxley was driving a black VW Beetle which hit the family-of-five in Battle, East Sussex in March.

Sussex Police have summonsed her to appear before Hastings JPs on August 16.

Oxley, of St Leonards-on-Sea, will answer allegations that she caused the death of Debbie and serious injury to her husband by dangerous driving.

After her death, her family said in a tribute: “Debbie was a loving wife and mother, who was adored by her husband. She will be missed forever.”
