Robins striker Matty Taylor (groin) is in contention to start after coming on in City’s EFL Cup win at Watford.

On-loan Fulham forward Cauley Woodrow, who was cup tied against the Hornets is pushing for a start.

Villa midfielder Josh Onomah is expected to overcome a head injury.

Striker Keinan Davis, 19, (hamstring) is a doubt while midfielder Mile Jedinak is set to miss out through illness.
