Bizarre photographs capture the moment animals invade sporting fixtures and can’t help but get stuck in the action

CRICKETERS were forced to moo-ve when this cow invaded a village match in Cheshire this week.

Animals seem to be drawn to sport.

The squirrel got Arsenal’s tails up in their big Champions League semi-final. He scampered across the Highbury turf and halted proceedings as fans chanted: “There’s only one squirrel, one squirrel.”

Counter a-quack

These players were left quacking up when this duck disturbed their match. Zulte-Waregem star Mahamadou Habib Habibou had to clutch it by its neck and throw it over the advertising hoardings so the game could commence against Lokeren.

Dog days are over

ENGLAND cricketers were given a break from their drubbing by India in a 2016 Test when a dog leaped fences to get on the field in Visakhapatnam – they couldn’t catch him either.
