Bismark Adjei-Boateng delighted with his injury return in Colorado Rapids 3-1 victory over Dynamo Houston

Ghanaian midfielder Bismark Adjei-Boateng  has expressed his delight upon his return from a long injury lay-off.

The midfield enforcer has been on the treatment table for quite a long time after suffering a back injury in April during a game between his team Colorado Rapids and Real Salt Lake.

And after enjoying 74 minutes of action for the Rapids in their 3-1 home victory over Dynamo Houston, the 23-year-old could not hide his joy.

“When I was out, I was always thinking about football,” Boateng told Denverpost.

“To come back and start playing again was perfect for me.”

He joined the Rapids lads from English Premier League side Manchester City this years.

Adjei-Boateng is a product of Ghanaian based Right to Dream Academy.
