As Kylian Mbappe looks set to clinch his £161m move to Real Madrid and Neymar is on the brink of a £195m Paris Saint-Germain move, we take a look at which club gets the better deal

IT’S already been a busy summer when it comes to strikers leaving on mega-money deals.

Firstly, Romelu Lukaku finally called time on his Everton career, spectacularly opting for Manchester United, when Chelsea seemed dead-set on landing him, for £75million.

Then Alvaro Morata, another United target, ended up heading to the Blues for £65m.

But now the focus has shifted, with Monaco wonderkid Kylian Mbappe, Barcelona star Neymar and Arsenal ace Alexis Sanchez all set to move on this summer.

Sanchez’s proposed deal to Paris Saint-Germain is still very much up in the air at this point, but it’s looking a lot simpler for Mbappe and Neymar.

The 18-year-old Frenchman is set to swap the south of France for Real Madrid in a world-record £161m deal.

But Neymar could eclipse that tally, as his move to Ligue 1 giants is set to cost the club an astonishing £195m.

But should both moves go through, would Real or PSG be getting the better deal? Check out all the stats and vote in our poll, below…

Would Barcelona star Neymar be worth £196m to Paris Saint-Germain?

All of Kylian Mbappe's AS Monaco goals from this season in Ligue 1

One thing is obvious, Neymar would represent the safer option, having spent years in the Spanish top flight, while Mbappe is a comparative rookie.

The Brazilian has racked up 123 league games through his career, including 112 starts, to Mbappe’s tally of 40 games and just 19 starts.

Neymar has logged over FIVE times as many minutes of league action at over 10,000 as well as scoring 68 goals to the French youngster’s 16.

The Samba star has also racked up over four times as many assists on 38 as well as completing more passes and creating more chances.

But it’s hardly fair to judge Mbappe for that having played so many fewer minutes.

However, when you break things down into minutes per goal, it is the Monaco youngster who comes out on top, scoring a league goal ever 112 minutes through his fledgling career so far.

Meanwhile, Neymar can boast an impressive, yet not good enough, one strike every 147 minutes.

However, the most amazing statistic is yet to come, when you look at their pair’s performances in the league from 2016-17 only.

Neymar played 30 times – starting all of them – to Mbappe’s 29, with just 17 starts.

But it’s the Frenchman who scored more goals, with 15 to the Brazilian’s 13, scoring one goal per 100 minutes.

The Barca man could only muster a goal ever 204 minutes.

Of course, there’s more to being a forward than just scoring goals – as Neymar dished out 11 assists.

Mbappe, despite played over 1,100 minutes fewer, still mustered eight assists of his own, but did end up miles behind in terms of chances created at 31 to Neymar’s 91.

The Barcelona forward has the gift and curse of playing alongside Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi, meaning the goals and assists will always need to be split three ways.

In truth, that arguably makes Neymar’s tallies all the more impressive.

Meanwhile, Mbappe grew into the 2016-17 season as he also showed off his all-round prowess – and at such a young age – as he became Monaco’s key attacker.

In fact, in all competitions last term, the youngster found the net six more times than Neymar, with 26 – to go with a sky-high shot conversion rate of 32.5 per cent.

Neymar could only manage a respectable, yet far inferior rate of 14.3.

So it’s clear, Neymar comes out on top of almost every category in terms of career accumulation.

But break things down and Mbappe appears to be the man to back.

However, at such a young age and with the pressure of potentially turning out for one of the world’s biggest clubs, could he be perceived more of a gamble?
