Ghana striker Kwesi Appiah is confident Dons have enough quality to carry through the season.

The 26-year-old tasted his first action for the new side as they lost 2-0 t Wycombe in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday.

The Ghana international, who re-joined the side on a permanent basis from Crystal Palace, has been left impressed with the side’s depth in quality.

“We showed what we’re about and hopefully we can carry that on into the season, because that was a great performance from a mixture of first team lads and young lads.” he said

Appiah is expected to be an integral part of the Dons squad ahead of the new season.
