2 teens arrested with 30 parcels of ‘wee’

Two teenagers have been arrested by the Eastern Regional Police Command for possessing narcotic substances, suspected to be marijuana.

Felix Gyimah, 18 and Evelyn Adade Korkor, 19 years, were arrested as they attempted to transport 30 parcels of the compressed substance together with cassava in 2 huge sacks from Huhunya to Nkurakan.
They are to be put before court soon.

Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh, said police acted on a tip off leading to their arrest.

The two suspects are currently assisting us in our investigations.
